# Document Mailing:⏎ Built for Business

The business account for Australia’s digital mailing service. One order builder
for any shape of mail, from one envelope to 500 with each recipient’s own documents.
Signature services the standard service doesn’t offer, encryption at rest, a certificate
for every envelope, team logins, and 7% off from the day you are approved.

Orders placed before 2pm AEST are dispatched same business day.

![PostMyDoc Burn After Reading: a document with a flame and a padlock](/wp-content/

**Burn After Reading.** Every document encrypted in transit and at rest, printed
once, and permanently deleted within 24 hours. Then certified.

## You know how this goes

Your practice manager, the one you pay $75,000 a year, is about to spend their lunch
break at Australia Post, queuing behind someone sending a parcel to their nan. The
printer’s been making that noise again. The toner light has been blinking for three
days and nobody wants to be the one to change it. And the breach notice that should
have gone out on Tuesday is still sitting on someone’s desk because “I’ll post it
on the way home” turned into “I forgot it was in my bag.”

Meanwhile, the firm down the road built the whole run in one order before the 2pm
AEST cutoff, and it went out that afternoon.

Physical mail is still essential: statutory declarations, tenant notices, termination
letters, invoices, land notices, contracts that need to arrive on paper. But the
process of getting a document from screen to letterbox hasn’t changed since the
fax machine was cutting edge.

**PostMyDoc Business changes that.** Your team builds the order in the portal, with
the documents for each recipient, and orders placed before 2pm AEST are dispatched
same business day. Every envelope is followed in one place and certified, so the
paperwork that proves it went is already in your portal.

reality. Solo, a virtual admin, or a growing team, your mail is sorted from a laptop,
with tracked and signature options. Free account, no subscription, no lock-in, no
minimums.](/wp-content/uploads/pmd-biz/04-envelopes-and-laptop-on-marble-bridging-

## One order builder. Any order, any shape.

Business mail rarely comes one letter at a time. The order builder takes whatever
the day throws at it in a single order, with one checkout and a certificate for
every envelope.

 * **One envelope, or up to 500.** A single letter, or a batch of up to 500 recipients
   in the one order.
 * **Black and white or colour.** Set it for the order and change it for any recipient.
 * **As many documents as each envelope needs.** Cover letter, contract, schedules
   and supporting documents, together.
 * **The same documents to everyone.** Client notices, statutory letters, AGM packs.
 * **Different documents to each recipient.** Invoices, statements, individually
addressed notices, all in one batch.
 * **Mixed services and speeds.** Some Standard, some Express, some Registered with
a signature, in the same order.
 * **Domestic and international together.** International envelopes go in the same
   order, on the same account.

### Add recipients in seconds

Paste a recipient list straight from a spreadsheet into the order, pick names from
your shared address book, or add them one at a time with address autocomplete. Import
up to 500 addresses into the address book in one go.

Every document is printed on quality A4 paper and goes in an envelope sized to it:
a DL for a few pages, a C5 for more, a C4 or B4 for thick packs.

Orders placed before 2pm AEST are dispatched same business day. Paying by BECS Direct
Debit? Your mail is posted once the debit settles, usually within a few business
days.

## Privacy and security, built in, not bolted on

For the documents a business cannot afford to leave on a shared printer or a vendor’s
server.

### Encrypted at rest, not just in transit

We encrypt business documents in transit and again before we store them on our servers,
and delete them within 24 hours. At-rest encryption is exclusive to PostMyDoc Business.

### A certificate for every envelope

Each envelope gets its own Document Handling Certificate, a chain of custody: when
its documents were received and encrypted, when it was enveloped (where that is
recorded), when it was lodged with Australia Post, and when its documents were permanently
deleted. Anyone you share it with can check its ID and fingerprint against PostMyDoc’s
records on the public verify page, without an account. Delivery is not on the certificate.
You follow delivery on the envelope’s timeline in your portal, in the email notifications
and on Australia Post tracking.

### A record of when it went, for the deadline that counts

Rent reviews, land notices, formal demands, anything with a date attached. The certificate
records the date it was lodged with Australia Post, and the time where one is recorded.
Download it from your portal and hand it to whoever needs it: a client, an auditor,
your lawyer.

### Burn After Reading

Encrypted in transit and at rest, printed once, and permanently deleted within 24
hours. We keep no archive, and a copy caught in a routine server backup stays encrypted
and ages out within 30 days.

### Its own business legal framework

A separate Business Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement
and Refund Policy, written for organisations handling other people’s information.

A sample certificate. One order to twelve recipients issues twelve certificates.
Custody and lodgement only. Delivery is followed in your portal and on Australia
Post tracking.

[How a certificate works, line by line](https://postmydoc.au/document-handling-certificates/)

## Every envelope, followed in one place

Open any order in your portal and each envelope has its own timeline, with email
notifications along the way. No spreadsheet of tracking numbers, no calling around.

 * Received & encryptedYour documents are in, encrypted at rest.
 * EnvelopedPrinted once and sealed.
 * Lodged via Australia PostOn its way. Untracked mail shows as Posted from here.
 * Permanently deletedWithin 24 hours. The envelope’s certificate is issued, and
   stays in your portal.
 * In transit, then deliveredTracked and signature services, with the tracking number
and Australia Post’s link. Or unable to be delivered, with the reason, so you
   know what to resend.

Your portal lists these by date. For an order placed at the weekend, or paid by
BECS Direct Debit, the documents are often deleted before the envelope has even
been lodged. The certificate is issued once both have happened, usually before a
tracked letter arrives. Delivery lives here, in your notifications and on Australia
Post tracking; the certificate covers custody and lodgement.

## What the business account adds

Everything here is on top of the standard service, with no subscription, no fees,
no lock-in and no minimum spend. You pay per envelope.

### Volume pricing

7% off every order from the day you are approved. Send 15 or more envelopes in a
month and every order the next month is 20% off. Send 60 or more and domestic mail
the next month is 30% off. International mail tops out at 20%. The discount covers
the base price and every extra page.

### Three business-only signature services

Registered Post with Signature and Express Post with Signature within Australia,
and International Registered with Signature overseas. Australia Post collects the
recipient’s signature on delivery. From $14.95.

### A shared address book

Everyone on the account works from the same list. Save recipients once, import a
spreadsheet, or let address autocomplete finish each one.

### Your team, one account

Everyone on the account has their own login. Your account admin is told about every
invite, can require approval for all of them, and sees every order and statement
across the account; everyone else sees their own.

### Invoices and statements that reconcile

Capture a PO number and cost centre on every order. Branded invoices and monthly
statements, with a CSV export for your bookkeeper.

### Pay at checkout, or by invoice once established

Card, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, BECS Direct Debit or PayTo. New accounts pay
at checkout; once your account is established, you can ask us about paying by invoice.

### Support by email

Email [business@postmydoc.au](https://postmydoc.au/business-document-mailing-service/business@postmydoc.au)
and we’ll reply within one business day.

Where a row shows two prices or a range, the price depends on the destination country,
and the order builder shows the exact amount as soon as you add the recipient. As
a broad guide, international mail takes 15 or more business days untracked, 6 to
11 with tracking (International Registered included) and 2 to 7 by Express; an estimate
for one country is more precise. Australia Post doesn’t offer a signature on delivery
to a small number of countries, so mail to those travels with tracking only, by
Express or Registered. Additional pages over 10, domestic and international: black
and white +$0.20 per page, colour +$0.45 per page (the discount applies to add-ons
too). Each figure is one envelope; on a larger order the discount comes off the
order total once. Worked examples are on the [business pricing page](https://postmydoc.au/business-pricing/).

## Questions before you apply

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. No subscription, no fees, no minimums and no lock-in. You pay per envelope,
when you send.

How quickly is a business account approved?

Within one business day. We review every application before an account is opened.
You need an ABN to apply online, from Australia or from anywhere else; a business
based outside Australia without one can apply by arrangement ([sending from outside Australia](https://postmydoc.au/australian-business-mail-from-anywhere/)).

How does the volume discount work?

7% off every order from the day you are approved. Send 15 or more envelopes in a
month and every order the next month is 20% off. Send 60 or more and domestic mail
the next month is 30% off. International mail tops out at 20%. Domestic and international
envelopes both count toward the month, across everyone on the account, and your
first month is always at 7%.

What is a Document Handling Certificate?

One per envelope, in your portal: a chain of custody: when its documents were received
and encrypted, when it was enveloped (where that is recorded), when it was lodged
with Australia Post, and when its documents were permanently deleted, with an ID
and fingerprint anyone can check against PostMyDoc’s records on the public verify
page. Delivery is not on the certificate. You follow delivery on the envelope’s
timeline in your portal, in the email notifications and on Australia Post tracking.
[More on certificates](https://postmydoc.au/document-handling-certificates/).

Can I see where each envelope is?

Yes. Every envelope has its own timeline in your portal: received, enveloped, lodged,
and for tracked services in transit and delivered, with the tracking number and
Australia Post’s link, and email notifications along the way. If an envelope can’t
be delivered, you see that too, with the reason.

Are my documents encrypted?

Yes. Business documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, printed once, and
permanently deleted within 24 hours. We keep no archive, and a copy caught in a
routine server backup stays encrypted and ages out within 30 days.

Can we send internationally?

Yes, in the same order as your domestic mail: Standard International, Standard International
with tracking, International Express with tracking and signature, and International
Registered with tracking and signature, which is for business accounts only. Your
discount applies and international envelopes count toward your month.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, BECS Direct Debit and PayTo. Paying by BECS Direct
Debit? Your mail is posted once the debit settles, usually within a few business
days. Once your account is established, you can ask us about paying by invoice.

Is PostMyDoc ISO 27001 certified?

No. Our hosting provider holds an ISO 27001 certification. PostMyDoc does not claim
one for itself.

Still have a question? Email [business@postmydoc.au](https://postmydoc.au/business-document-mailing-service/business@postmydoc.au)
