## How It Works 6

What is PostMyDoc?

PostMyDoc is an Australian digital-to-physical mail service. You upload a PDF document
via our website or mobile app, and we print it and post it to your recipient anywhere
in Australia or overseas via Australia Post. No printer, no stamps, no post office
required.

How do I send a document?

Select your print type (Black and White or Colour), choose your postage service,
enter your page count, upload your PDF, enter the recipient’s delivery address,
enter your details and pay. We handle everything from there. Orders placed before
2pm AEST are dispatched same business day.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can place an order as a guest without creating an account. The PostMyDoc
mobile app offers the option to save your details for faster repeat ordering.

your document is in Word, Google Docs or another format, save or export it as a
PDF before uploading.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. The maximum file size is 20MB. If your PDF exceeds 20MB you can compress it
using a free tool such as ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf before uploading.

Is there a page limit?

No. There is no maximum page limit. The base price covers up to 10 pages. Each additional
page is charged at $0.20 (Black and White) or $0.45 (Colour).

Will my document print exactly as it looks on screen?

We print your document exactly as it is provided. Black and White documents will
print as submitted. For Colour documents the printed output may vary slightly from
on-screen appearance depending on your monitor calibration and the nature of the
document. PostMyDoc is not responsible for formatting issues within the uploaded
file itself.

Can I send multiple documents in one order?

Currently PostMyDoc accepts one PDF per order. If your documents are separate files
you can merge them into a single PDF using a free tool such as ilovepdf.com/merge_pdf
before uploading, or place separate orders for each document.

What type of paper and envelopes do you use?

Documents are printed on standard A4 80gsm white paper. Documents are folded and
placed in a standard DL or C4 envelope depending on the page count and size of the
document.

## Security & Privacy 6

Is my document secure?

Yes. All documents are transmitted using 256-bit SSL encryption. Uploaded files
are stored in a restricted server directory that is not publicly accessible. Your
document is never visible via a direct URL.

Who can access my document?

Only authorised PostMyDoc personnel involved in the printing and dispatch process
have access to your uploaded document. Your document is not read, monitored or analysed
beyond what is necessary to print it.

How long do you keep my document?

Your uploaded document is permanently and automatically deleted from PostMyDoc’s
systems within 24 hours. This is an automated process.

What is the Burn After Reading Policy?

The Burn After Reading Policy is PostMyDoc’s commitment to document privacy. Every
document uploaded to PostMyDoc is encrypted in transit, printed once for dispatch,
and permanently deleted within 24 hours. We print. We post. We delete. Full details
are available at [postmydoc.au/burn-after-reading/](https://postmydoc.au/burn-after-reading/).

Do you keep copies of my document?

We use your document for one job: turning it into your letter. It’s permanently
deleted within 24 hours, and we never share it with anyone. If you need it posted
again later, just send it through as a new order.

What personal information do you collect?

We collect your name, email address and recipient delivery address to process and
fulfil your order. Full details of how we handle your personal information are in
our Privacy Policy at [postmydoc.au/privacy-policy/](https://postmydoc.au/privacy-policy/).

## Dispatch & Delivery 10

When will my document be posted?

Orders placed before 2pm AEST on a business day are dispatched same business day.
Orders placed after 2pm AEST or on weekends and public holidays are dispatched the
next business day.

How long does delivery take?

Domestic: Standard Post: estimated 3-7 business days Standard Post + Tracking: estimated
3-7 business days Express Post + Tracking: next business day to metro areas, 2-5
business days to regional and rural areas International: Standard International:
estimated 15 or more business days Standard International + Tracking: estimated
6-11 business days International Express: estimated 2-7 business days All timeframes
are indicative and based on Australia Post estimates. PostMyDoc cannot guarantee
delivery timeframes.

Do you offer tracking?

Yes. Standard Post + Tracking, Express Post + Tracking, Standard International +
Tracking and International Express Post all include Australia Post tracking. Standard
Post (domestic) and Standard International Post do not include tracking. When tracking
is available you will receive your tracking number via email once your document
has been dispatched.

How do I track my document?

Once your order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been assigned, you
will receive a dispatch email containing your Australia Post tracking number and
a link to track your item at auspost.com.au.

Do you dispatch on weekends and public holidays?

No. PostMyDoc dispatches on business days only (Monday to Friday excluding South
Australian public holidays). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be
dispatched the next business day.

What happens if my document is returned to sender?

It comes back to us, and we’ll email to let you know. We hold the returned envelope
for 5 business days, and we can repost it if you ask or sort out something else
with you. Whether a repost costs anything depends on what happened. We look at each
case, and sometimes there’s a postage charge. If we don’t hear from you within those
5 business days, it’s securely shredded and disposed of. Ask us and we’ll shred
it sooner. Our Burn After Reading Policy covers the paper copy too. Your digital
file was already deleted within 24 hours, so a repost uses the envelope we’re holding.

If the address on the order was incorrect or incomplete, our [Refund and Cancellation Policy](https://postmydoc.au/refund-policy/)
explains how that’s handled.

My envelope is on its way back. Do I have to wait for it?

No. As soon as we know it couldn’t be delivered, we’ll email you, and you can reply
straight away. Depending on what happened, we may sort it out before the envelope
reaches us, with a fresh send or a refund. We look at each case.

A fresh send means sending us your document again. Your digital file was deleted
within 24 hours, so there’s nothing on our side to print again. The envelope that’s
on its way back can be reposted once it reaches us.

Why did you tell me it was undeliverable before it came back?

On tracked mail, Australia Post’s tracking usually shows a delivery problem well
before the envelope makes it back to us, so we let you know as soon as we see it
rather than waiting for the post. If the envelope does come back, the 5 business
days we hold it start from the day it arrives.

What if the envelope turns up weeks or months later?

It happens: returned mail can take weeks, sometimes months, to find its way back.
When it arrives it’s held for 5 business days like any other returned envelope (
or less, if you ask us to), then securely shredded and disposed of under our Burn
After Reading Policy. If we’ve already sorted things out with you by then, there’s
nothing more you need to do.

Does “undeliverable” always mean it’s coming back?

No. Mail can also be delivered to the wrong address or lost in transit, and then
it may not come back at all. On a tracked letter we can see what the tracking shows,
and if something looks off we’ll chase it up with Australia Post and email you what
we find. An untracked letter that goes astray leaves nothing we can check, so if
yours hasn’t arrived, tell us and we’ll work out the next step with you. Undelivered
mail can still go out again, as a repost or a fresh send, and whether that costs
anything depends on what happened.

## International Mailing 5

Can I send documents overseas from Australia?

Yes. PostMyDoc offers international mailing from Australia to over 200 countries
and territories via Australia Post. International orders can be placed at [postmydoc.au/send-documents-internationally/](https://postmydoc.au/send-documents-internationally/).

when you select your destination country on the order form. Full international pricing
is available at [postmydoc.au/pricing](https://postmydoc.au/pricing/).

Are there customs requirements for international mail?

PostMyDoc sends standard letters and documents internationally. Documents sent via
PostMyDoc are standard mail items and are subject to the customs regulations of
the destination country. PostMyDoc is not responsible for delays, seizure or non-
delivery caused by customs authorities.

How long does international delivery take?

are subject to the respective service’s refund policy.

PostMyDoc accepts any standard document that can be saved as a PDF including letters,

for international orders.

What content is prohibited?
