How the Clock Runs

The fine print, in plain English.

Business days only
Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays don’t count, so a letter dispatched on a Friday starts its count on the Monday.
The 2pm cut-off
2pm AEST, or 2pm AEDT during daylight saving. That’s 1:30pm in Adelaide. Orders placed after the cut-off are dispatched the next business day.
Tracking
Tracked services come with a tracking number and an Australia Post link in your dispatch email. Standard Post and Standard International have no tracking, and we still email you when they’re dispatched.
They’re estimates
The figures are Australia Post’s estimates. Customs checks, weather and busy seasons can add days, most often overseas.
If it’s running late
Give it until the end of its estimate, then contact us. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy covers what happens next.
