What is PostMyDoc?

PostMyDoc is an Australian digital-to-physical mail service. You upload a PDF document via our website or mobile app, and we print it and post it to your recipient anywhere in Australia or overseas via Australia Post. No printer, no stamps, no post office required.

How do I send a document?

Select your print type (Black and White or Colour), choose your postage service, enter your page count, upload your PDF, enter the recipient’s delivery address, enter your details and pay. We handle everything from there. Orders placed before 2pm AEST are dispatched same business day.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can place an order as a guest without creating an account. The PostMyDoc mobile app offers the option to save your details for faster repeat ordering.

Is there a mobile app?

The PostMyDoc app is available on Android and iOS. Download it from Google Play or the App Store.

Where can I download the PostMyDoc app?

The PostMyDoc app is available on Google Play and the App Store. Search for PostMyDoc or visit the PostMyDoc website for a direct link.

What countries can I send documents to?

PostMyDoc offers domestic mailing to all addresses within Australia and international mailing to all destinations serviced by Australia Post’s international network, over 220 countries and territories worldwide. People overseas can also use PostMyDoc to send documents to addresses within Australia.

How much does it cost?

Domestic pricing starts from $8.95 for Black and White Standard Post (up to 10 pages). Full pricing is available at postmydoc.au/pricing.

What postage options are available?

What is the price difference between Black and White and Colour?

Black and White printing starts from $8.95. Colour printing starts from $11.95. The $3.00 difference applies across all postage tiers.

What happens if my document is more than 10 pages?

The base price covers up to 10 pages. Additional pages are charged at $0.20 per page for Black and White and $0.45 per page for Colour. There is no maximum page limit. The estimated total is calculated automatically before you complete your order.

Are prices in Australian Dollars?

Yes. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Google Pay, Afterpay and Klarna. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Can I pay using buy now pay later?

Yes. PostMyDoc accepts Afterpay and Klarna. These payment options are available at checkout. By using Afterpay or Klarna you agree to their respective terms and conditions.

Document Requirements 6

What file types do you accept?

PDF files only. This ensures your formatting is preserved exactly as intended. If your document is in Word, Google Docs or another format, save or export it as a PDF before uploading.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. The maximum file size is 20MB. If your PDF exceeds 20MB you can compress it using a free tool such as ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf before uploading.

Is there a page limit?

No. There is no maximum page limit. The base price covers up to 10 pages. Each additional page is charged at $0.20 (Black and White) or $0.45 (Colour).

Will my document print exactly as it looks on screen?

We print your document exactly as it is provided. Black and White documents will print as submitted. For Colour documents the printed output may vary slightly from on-screen appearance depending on your monitor calibration and the nature of the document. PostMyDoc is not responsible for formatting issues within the uploaded file itself.

Can I send multiple documents in one order?

Currently PostMyDoc accepts one PDF per order. If your documents are separate files you can merge them into a single PDF using a free tool such as ilovepdf.com/merge_pdf before uploading, or place separate orders for each document.

What type of paper and envelopes do you use?

Documents are printed on standard A4 80gsm white paper. Documents are folded and placed in a standard DL or C4 envelope depending on the page count and size of the document.

Security & Privacy 6

Is my document secure?

Yes. All documents are transmitted using 256-bit SSL encryption. Uploaded files are stored in a restricted server directory that is not publicly accessible. Your document is never visible via a direct URL.

Who can access my document?

Only authorised PostMyDoc personnel involved in the printing and dispatch process have access to your uploaded document. Your document is not read, monitored or analysed beyond what is necessary to print it.

How long do you keep my document?

Your uploaded document is permanently and automatically deleted from PostMyDoc’s systems within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. This is an automated process. No backup copies are retained.

What is the Burn After Reading Policy?

The Burn After Reading Policy is PostMyDoc’s commitment to document privacy. Every document uploaded to PostMyDoc is encrypted in transit, printed once for dispatch, and permanently deleted within 24 hours. We print. We post. We delete. Do you keep copies of my document?

No. Once your document is deleted it cannot be recovered by PostMyDoc or provided to any third party. We do not archive, store or retain copies of uploaded documents.

What personal information do you collect?

We collect your name, email address and recipient delivery address to process and fulfil your order. Full details of how we handle your personal information are in our Privacy Policy at postmydoc.au/privacy-policy/.

Dispatch & Delivery 6

When will my document be posted?

Orders placed before 2pm AEST on a business day are dispatched same business day. Orders placed after 2pm AEST or on weekends and public holidays are dispatched the next business day.

How long does delivery take?

Domestic: Standard Post: estimated 2-6 business days Standard Post + Tracking: estimated 2-6 business days Express Post + Tracking: next business day to metro areas, 2-5 business days to regional and rural areas International: Standard International: estimated 15 or more business days International Registered: estimated 15 or more business days International Express: estimated 3-6 business days All timeframes are indicative and based on Australia Post estimates. PostMyDoc cannot guarantee delivery timeframes.

Do you offer tracking?

Yes. Standard Post + Tracking, Express Post + Tracking, International Registered Post and International Express Post all include Australia Post tracking. Standard Post (domestic) and Standard International Post do not include tracking. When tracking is available you will receive your tracking number via email once your document has been dispatched.

How do I track my document?

Once your order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been assigned, you will receive a dispatch email containing your Australia Post tracking number and a link to track your item at auspost.com.au.

Do you dispatch on weekends and public holidays?

No. PostMyDoc dispatches on business days only (Monday to Friday excluding South Australian public holidays). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.

What happens if my document is returned to sender?

If a document is returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer PostMyDoc is not able to re-post the document as it will have been deleted in accordance with the Burn After Reading Policy. A new order will need to be placed. PostMyDoc is not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect addresses. Please refer to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

International Mailing 5

Can I send documents overseas from Australia?

Yes. PostMyDoc offers international mailing from Australia to over 220 countries and territories via Australia Post. International orders can be placed at postmydoc.au/send-documents-internationally/.

Can I send documents to Australia from overseas?

Yes. If you are based overseas and need to send a document to an address within Australia, PostMyDoc can help. Visit postmydoc.au/send-documents-to-australia-from-overseas/ for more information.

How is international postage priced?

International postage pricing is based on Australia Post’s international zones. The destination country determines which zone applies. Pricing is calculated automatically when you select your destination country on the order form. Full international pricing is available at postmydoc.au/pricing.

Are there customs requirements for international mail?

PostMyDoc sends standard letters and documents internationally. Documents sent via PostMyDoc are standard mail items and are subject to the customs regulations of the destination country. PostMyDoc is not responsible for delays, seizure or non-delivery caused by customs authorities.

How long does international delivery take?

Standard International and International Registered Post typically take 15 or more business days. International Express Post typically takes 3-6 business days. Delivery times vary by destination and are not guaranteed.

Cancellations and Refunds 4

Can I cancel my order?

You may request a cancellation before PostMyDoc has begun printing your document. Contact us immediately via postmydoc.au/contact-us/ with your order number. Once printing has commenced the order cannot be cancelled. Due to our rapid fulfillment we begin printing orders shortly after receipt so cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Do you offer refunds?

PostMyDoc will issue a full refund if your document was printed with significant errors due to our fault, if your document was not lodged with Australia Post due to our error, or if the wrong address was used due to a system error on our platform. Refunds are not issued for change of mind, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, or Australia Post delays. How do I request a refund?

Contact us within 14 days of your order dispatch date via postmydoc.au/contact-us/ or info@postmydoc.au with your order number and a description of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days.

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically take 5-10 business days. Afterpay and Klarna refunds are subject to the respective service’s refund policy.

Content Restrictions 4

What types of documents can I send?

PostMyDoc accepts any standard document that can be saved as a PDF including letters, legal documents, forms, contracts, invoices, reports, notices and personal correspondence. Documents must comply with Australian law and the laws of the destination country for international orders.

What content is prohibited?

PostMyDoc will not print or post documents containing illegal, defamatory, threatening, obscene or prohibited content, material that infringes third party intellectual property rights, unsolicited commercial material in violation of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), or any content that PostMyDoc reasonably considers inappropriate. Orders containing prohibited content will be cancelled without a refund. Full details are in the Terms and Conditions at postmydoc.au/terms-and-conditions/.

Can I send legal documents?

Yes. PostMyDoc is commonly used to send formal legal correspondence including statutory declarations, legal notices, formal letters and court documents. Please ensure your document is correctly formatted as a PDF before uploading. PostMyDoc prints exactly what is provided and is not responsible for the legal validity or formatting of your document.

Can I send documents for my business?

Yes. PostMyDoc offers business document mailing services suitable for legal firms, real estate agencies, HR departments, consultants and any business that needs to send formal correspondence by post. Visit postmydoc.au/business-document-mailing-service/ for more information.

The PostMyDoc App 6

Is there a PostMyDoc mobile app?

Yes. The PostMyDoc app is available on Android and iOS. Download it from Google Play or the App Store. The app offers the same service as the website with a streamlined mobile order flow.

Does the app offer the same service as the website?

Yes. The app offers the full domestic mailing service. International mailing via the app is coming soon, in the meantime you can use the website at postmydoc.au/send-documents-internationally/ for international orders.

How do I upload a document on the app?

On the app upload screen tap the upload area and select a PDF from your device’s file storage. The app automatically detects the page count of your document. You can adjust the page count if needed before proceeding.

Is the app secure?

Yes. The PostMyDoc app uses the same 256-bit SSL encryption as the website for all document uploads and API communications. The Burn After Reading Policy applies equally to orders placed through the app.

Does the app send push notifications?

Yes. If you grant notification permission the app will send push notifications when your order has been confirmed and when your document has been dispatched. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

My app order is not showing in my order history, is this normal?

All orders placed through the PostMyDoc app should appear in your order history and you should receive a confirmation email immediately after payment. If you have not received an order confirmation email check your spam folder or contact us at postmydoc.au/contact-us/.

Business Mailing 3

Do you offer bulk or volume pricing?

For businesses sending high volumes of documents regularly, contact us to discuss a business account arrangement. Visit postmydoc.au/business-document-mailing-service/ or contact us via postmydoc.au/contact-us/.

Can PostMyDoc integrate with our business systems?

We are working on API and integration options for businesses. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Do you offer same day dispatch for business orders?

Yes. The same dispatch policy applies to all orders, placed before 2pm AEST on a business day for same business day dispatch.

What are your support hours?

PostMyDoc is based in South Australia. We respond to enquiries on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding South Australian public holidays). We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 business day.

I have a complaint, what should I do?

We take complaints seriously. Please contact us via postmydoc.au/contact-us/ with as much detail as possible. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days.
