The notices projects send
Many recipients, each with their own details, and a date that has to be shown.
Forty notices, forty envelopes, one deadline
The notices come out of the project spreadsheet: forty of them, each with its own lot number and map. Then someone has to print forty packs, match each to its address, queue at the post office with forty Registered Post labels, and keep the receipts somewhere the auditor will find them.
If one goes in the wrong envelope, or the receipts go missing, the notice period starts again.
PostMyDoc Business does the matching for you. Paste the recipients from the spreadsheet, add each notice and map against its recipient, and choose Registered Post with Signature. Each envelope gets its own certificate, so the record of when it was lodged is one download away.
An order built around the recipient list
- Up to 100 envelopes in one order. Larger mail-outs go as several orders, each with its own certificates.
- Different documents to each recipient. Each landholder’s own notice and map, matched in the order builder.
- Several documents in each envelope. Notice, map, fact sheet and reply form, together.
- Colour where the map needs it. Set colour for the order or just for the recipients who need it.
- Mixed services. Signature for landholders, Standard Post for neighbours, in the same order.
The record behind every notice
What each envelope leaves behind, for the project file and the auditor.
When each envelope was lodged
Every certificate records the date it was lodged with Australia Post, and the time where one is recorded, in ACST or ACDT like every PostMyDoc timestamp, and anyone you share it with can check its ID and fingerprint against PostMyDoc’s records.
Which documents went to whom
The certificate names the recipient and the documents in each envelope.
Delivery, followed separately
Delivery is not on the certificate. You follow delivery on the envelope’s timeline in your portal, in the email notifications and on Australia Post tracking. Envelopes that can’t be delivered show in the portal with the reason.
A trail across the project team
Everyone on the account has their own login. Your account admin is told about every invite, can require approval for all of them, and sees every order and statement across the account; everyone else sees their own.

Questions we get asked
Does the certificate prove a notice was served?
It records when PostMyDoc lodged each envelope with Australia Post. It does not record delivery: you follow delivery on the envelope’s timeline in your portal, in the email notifications and on Australia Post tracking. Whether that satisfies the notice requirements for your project is for you and your advisers to decide; we don’t give legal advice.
Can we send more than 100 notices?
One order holds up to 100 envelopes. A larger mail-out goes as several orders, and every envelope still gets its own certificate.
Can each landholder get their own map?
Yes. Choose different documents for each recipient, and add each notice and map against its landholder.
Can the project team share one account?
Yes, and the address book with it. Everyone on the account has their own login. Your account admin is told about every invite, can require approval for all of them, and sees every order and statement across the account; everyone else sees their own.
